Probe Manufacturing Technology
Since 1999, Signal Integrity has manufactured spring probes for the OEM market in the United States. We use our probes exclusively in our sockets. The probes we manufacture contain proprietary materials – a unique clad and stamping process, and Swiss screw machine plunger tooling. We develop custom tooling to assemble our spring probes and MEMS connectors.

Spring Manufacturing and Design
Our spring designs are optimized for fine pitch, high temperature, and harsh environment applications. We can customize small lots to precisely fit your contact application, maintaining a low contact resistance and mapping total compression force across your device.

Testing & Inspection
Sockets are qualified using automated optical inspection (AOI), X-ray inspection, functional testing, and electrical testing. We verify connection integrity and device alignment to 35 microns.

Supply Chain Management
We have established relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain for components and materials needed for manufacturing.

- Clad Metal Process
- We operate four and five axis CNC machines for very small packages.
- We can cut 150 micron pitch slots, and drill 120 micron probe cavities at an angle from 25 to 155 degrees horizontally, variance tolerance to 25 microns.
- We utilize advanced engineering plastic to meet your RF applications, high current, and high temperature test requirements.
- We use additive 3D Printing at 40 micron feature resolution, offering our customers low cost and quick turn socket components direct from design files.
